Today’s Life-Line is:

Our greatest privilege is also our greatest responsibility.
Not only to seek and to find the treasure hidden in the field
but to uncover and reveal all those other places
where the Divine is hiding in our midst and longing to be found.

Every time we recognize and greet someone with reverence,
God is there.

God is hiding
in every kind word
in every tenderhearted act,
in every generous deed,
in every gesture of hospitality.

God is hiding
in every compassionate action,
in every shared tear of grief or joy.
in every work of mercy or justice or peace,
no matter how small.

Our vocation is to help others
catch a glimpse of God in our midst
in acts of love, constantly repeated.

It’s as simple and daring and joyful as that.
