The Three Days

Cross & Circle 2This evening we enter into the “high holy days” of the Christian faith called TRIDUUM (in Latin meaning three days.) Traditionally these days are known as Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday, and Easter Sunday. That appears to be four days but the days are counted evening to evening. Over the years I have offered refections on the significance and implications of these sacred days. Find a series of links below (and over the next three days) that you can use for your reflection during this sacred time of year.

Extravagant Blessings, Dan

BEGIN HERE with reflections on the Three Days:
The Foolishness of Love and Back to the Future from 2010. Or you might try Triduum: The Story of Our Life in God from 2014 which, after similar opening paragraphs, is a slightly different version of “The Foolishness of Love.”

FOR today, HOLY THURSDAY read:
Holy Thursday The Second Gesture of Love (2013)
Holy Thursday Triduum Triptych – Panel 1 (2016)
