Brother Weeps taught, “Before we can see Christ in the other, as St. Benedict and various sages through the ages have encouraged, we need to learn to see the other. To see the other as Christ sees them. And when we are able to see the person, truly see him or her for who they are, then we will not only see Christ in them but ourselves in them as well. When we see as Christ sees, we will not only see ourselves in them but them in ourselves. Then we will discover that we are one and that there is no such thing as other.”
